My Leedy Drums - Stolen Last viewed: 54 seconds ago

I am glad to hear of the successful outcome of your plight! Now, if the scumbag that ripped you off can be located & prosecuted...all will be well.

If he were to receive more than just a slap on the wrist (and the $400 he stole from that man who bought your set) maybe he'd think twice before reoffending...or, maybe not.

Anyway, it's great that you got your heirloom drumset back!

Wow, I am so glad you found them. Your very fortunate, wonderful you have them back. A lesson to us all to be careful with our kits as far as leaving them in vehicles for longer than we have to. Clapping Happy2

Since you got your drums back,(glad to hear) I doubt the cops are going to devote any resources to tracking down the thief. Also I'll bet that the guy who had your drums knows exactly who he got them from. Think about it, other than CL or the thief trying to sell 'em out of the trunk of his car in the Guitar Center parking lot how's he going to move them?

Anyway, you're the exception to the rule and I bet you'll enjoy those drums even more than before!!

Believe it or else!

Thanks everyone. I spoke with the Detective assigned to the case today and explained that we recovered the drums, but are still missing the cymbals, drum throne and other accessories, so they should keep the case open. I also passed on good information that the seller gave to us on the person who sold them to him. The forensics girl that we met with is going to take more finger prints from the recovered drums, to further connect the thief to them, in case they actually track him down. Fingers crossed on catching the scumbag, but the major stress is now over.

> trying to sell 'em out of the trunk of his car in the Guitar Center parking

Hey! I resemble that remark! LOL

I meet some CL guys in the parking lot of a Guitar Center in King Of Prussia because I feel safer with people around. I guess it is kind of a 'Gypsy' thing to do, but then, I'm a Gypsy in my soul...

John - *If you buy from me in a parking lot... I am not a crook! :p

Too many great drums to list here!
