I have these drums and I bought 3 different sparkle inlay....for variety. The gold looked nice. I've since had the drums repainted and I'm just now putting the hardware and inlay strips back on the drums. Last night I cut (to length) the Green Sparkle and was going to put that in.

I thought I'd get a poll going (I don't know how to set that up here) and I'd just ask......

I really like the Gold but I may be selling these and if most people like one of the others I will use it.

What's nicer in your opinion.

I think the gold looks awesome with the Caddy green. I'd keep it.

that's what I thought - gold looks nice. I originally chose gold because I was going to have all the hardware 25K Gold plated.....just way too expensive these days & I'd never get anywhere near my money out of the kit if I did sell it.

So...what I'm saying is maybe the Silver would look better with the chrome hardware?

Silver sparkle looks just fine, but the gold sparkle just pops more against the green shells.

Yes it does 'pop' - It would be really nice to have wood hoops and inlay on the toms too. Mayby another project???

Silver definitely. Few have ever seen a green or gold inlay anywhere else. Silver is more familiar.
