Rogers Left-handed Set-ups Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Loading...

Do any of you Rogers guys have a factory-made left-handed set-up where the bass drum has the mounts located opposite from that used on a right-handed kit and the toms and tone controls are positioned similarly in a mirror image?

Two examples shown, though the second one could just be a twin tom Top Hat/Londoner style set-up with a missing tom on the left side. The jet black set-up appears to have been an early Fullerton Citadel. You'll notice in the detail that you cannot see the tone control and vent hole. They are likely to be directly opposite the tom mount, and there is probably a second script on the tom in the panel just behind the mount. But on the WMP set, the mounted tom is a true left-handed 8x12 where the orientation moving away from the mount is the badge first and then the panel with the tone control and vent hole.

Compare, as well, to a right-handed layout in the last picture.

First off i want to thank Dan Boucher for posting this thread as he`s well aware i`m a lefty and my set configuration.I was surprised no one has chimed in on this thread as i know there are a number of lefty players on this forum.I posted a thread sometime back on " how many forum members play lefty style" and was quite surprised to hear from a good number of you.So if any of you guys have a Rogers factory made lefty set please let Dan know as i`m sure i can`t be the only one here that has one.On the other hand... if you have any make/model as a factory made lefty set it would be great to hear from you.I know us leftys are rare but there has to be some true lefty sets here on the forum with the tom badge in the proper position facing out with the high tom on the right side. Thanks guys.

Well Dan,unless someone else can offer up some proof, it looks like i`ve got the one and only "left-handed factory made" Rogers set on the forum. That`s kind of cool but leaves me feeling abit on the lonely side.

I'm a lonely boy,

I'm a lonely boy,

Oh, oh-oh, I got a love (for Rogers lefties) that keeps waiting.........

Let's face it Wayne, those lefty sets are out there, but the guys are just a bit shy about it.

I`d like to say i`d challenge anyone for $ to put up a pic of a factory made left handed set in any make/model but i`m not a gambling man and would likely lose anyway. There has been enough time on this thread for someone to step forward and post yet no one has...This proves to me that i have "THE" only left handed factory made Rogers set on the entire forum and yes i`m bragging. At last i don`t feel so lonely, just proud and i can handle that, lol.Where are all my trusted lefty friends with left handed sets when i need them...

Yes, yes, yes!!! You smoked one out Wayne. They'll be a flood of competition now.

Nice looking kit mike! That's what we are looking for. That one goes into the picture file.
