We just got the power on a few hours ago. TV, phone and net just came back on. Made it through the storm ok but the water came pretty close. Lots of wind but very little rain. Police asked everyone here to leave but we stayed. My son and I watched the worst flood tide come in Mon nite. By 11:30pm it was going back down so we were ok here. Tues am we took a ride through the town and lots of wind and flood damage here on the coast. Many lost everything. I hear parts of NY-NJ are devastated. I haven't seen any TV or been online in days. Hope everyone made it thru ok.

Sandy was a nasty b i t c h~!

Peace~!

Glad you're back and safe!! I was worried. Hadn't seen anything from you in the past few days and I knew you were close to the coast from your earlier postings.

Thanks Jeff! We were very lucky here. Many were not and lost everything.

Man I tell you, seeing the pics from NY and NJ are heartbreaking. I lived in Toms River NJ for a few years and Seaside Heights was a old stomping ground of mine..... Gone. As much of the coastline is. Please keep them all in your prayers. It'll take a long time to rebuild.
