Tom, Thanks man, I really appreciate it. It's like it got stuck half-way here! Everything was moving along fine until it hit Chicago. The tracking information shows nothing for the last 30+ hours since Chicago. If the storm had affected mail delivery, I think it would have been mentioned on the news. Maybe the truck had to drive through the Bermuda Triangle between Illinois and Pennsylvania!

Let me know if you learn anything new. I can't get through to a live person at USPS to ask anything, just those annoying recordings.

Good luck, hope you find out what the delay is... fingers crossed.

Bummer John~! On a sort of related subject..... I'm waiting on a small part coming USPS too. Tracking showed it was accepted on 11-12 with delivery expected on 11-18. Today is the 26th and the website still shows the same info it did a week ago. That it was accepted on the 12th with no further updates. The Holiday rush is on. Hope the drum shows up tomorrow. If your mail lady is a hotty give her a nice kiss anyway. Kiss This way she'll expect another when she brings the drum. :D

She looks like a minister's daughter (homely,) so I'd hesitate to make any moves on her! I'd do it out of gratitude, or, if I could put a flag over her head, for Old Glory... but I wouldn't do it on my own!

Man, I hope this is a computer based cosmic screw up and the drum shows up tomorrow. Otherwise, I start pulling my hair out if it doesn't. Thursday the teeth come out! I don't want to tell you what comes off on Friday! Eye Ball

Thanks for the pep talk, Tom! I need it right about now.

LOL oh well I guess it'll be like taking one for the team then!! Hey my Brother in law is a mailman. I'll give him a call and see if there's any clitches in the usps system or just the holiday rush. He'll be home in a hour and will let you know what he says. I know here they closed a few sorting offices last year and cutbacks have been brutal. You must be on pins and needles waiting for this drum~! I think that storm might have slowed things up a bit too it's a mess. Hang in there buddy!

I'd take a deep breath and relax and know it will be delivered as soon as weather permits with ultra care taken to insure it's safety. If it will make you feel any better. Drive over to your nearest mail processing center (regional) and ask for the MDO (manager distributions operations) it will take him less than 5 min to find out its location and hold up. The tour 1 MDO would be the best choice but he works graveyard unfortunately.

This story gets better every day. USPS is waiting for the day before Thanksgiving to make you really go crazy. My bet is that you get it tomorrow and that a "new" mail lady deliverer has just started your neighborhood route. A long-haired, red-head beauty.

she would keep my mind off of that drum for good while a what drum lol

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
