Vintage drum shells as fiewood? Last viewed: 32 minutes ago

Loading...

Just wondering if anyone has much experience in burning them..

Noxious fumes?

Reason I ask......

I have been trying to sell shells on the you-know-what site...and can't move them....for a reasonable price anyway...

For example...

I have a Rogers CLEVE beavertail 20" BDP shell..with script badge...for $45.....80 views....no hits...for one of the best shells ever built!

A 1960 Trans badge Luddy in Red Sparkle....WITH 1 correct hoop ...in nice shape....for $65...same thing...

I am REALLY tempted to pop the badges off...throw the shells in the dumpster....or..make cat houses out of them..use them for target practice..etc....

End of rant!

I have some shells that would make good cat toys. Funny you started this thread, I was thinking the same thing, burn em up and be done.

Thank you!

I'm sure there is something a little more creative than burning them up, no? Think outside the box a bit.

How about making some artwork out of them...

Or, how about a cool kitty or dog den? JC inspired.

Or, compost bin or a raised garden bed??

Or table base. Not very creative but...

OR You could always....ahhhh, restore and play them? Novel idea, I know.
