From blairndrums

I am thinking outside the box....I said...cat houses, target practice...If I could use them as drums..I would be doing that.....but..I have plenty of other drums....and nothing in LudRed Sparkle...Rogers BDP....

woah, woah , woah, tarket practice on the kitty house? Now you're going too far. Ok, think outside the kitty box.

OK..see how frustrating this is?...That is why I HATE Evilbay MOST of the time.....

My BDP Rogers ended tonight with no bites at $45....

What's next? List it for $35?....Minus the 13.2% cut they get....I get $30 for a 1960's Rogers shell WITH a $15 badge on it?

Might be having a big bonfire here coming up.folks...if anyone on here wants to watch..we have a big backyard ....you all are invited!

We can cook marshmallows and hot dogs over the shells!

Founders beer isn't too far away..so can get some growlers...and have big fun!

Burning them (unless you are freezing) is just the wrong reaction to being frustrated.

Yes, either list them again, or reduce the price. Isn't that better than getting 0 dollars for them?

You know man...Only a few people are gonna be looking at that red sparkle shell. It was a two year deal and that color doesn't pop up often. I think we've had this conversation before.lol. I've had my red trans badge bass drum for 17 years now. I finally found a matching 13 tom 2 years ago. Thats gotta tell you how uncommon they are. I'm still waiting for a floor tom to go with it. I saw one on ebay once, but it was completely painted white. And at the time I didn't want to fork over a hundred bucks for a shell that might have been completely faded under that paint. I kind of regret not taking the chance. But it's easy to see that first, your dealing with a rare badge. And then top that with a specific color. It really narrows the playing field. Your gonna have more people looking at that badge than the shell. Don't go too cheap because someone will buy it and just ask for the badge. I say sit on it and someone will come around needing it.

Hy Blair, I'll bet you could play some smoking tunes on drums that had been used for firewood.

Send Bobby the Rogers shell for the least amount you'll allow and send me your Paypal address and I'll pay for it.

Surely Bobby can eventually match it up to something on the farm, with the worst case being it becomes a planter base for his back deck.
