Fantastic resto work and an even better score! I'm not even a huge Gretsch fan, but gotta give props to a *****in' kit when I see one. Congrats.

P.S. I know it was mentioned, but if you purchase the Maxwell rail consolette kit for this baby, I believe it comes with the diamond plate you need for the 12"er.

This is why I check Craigs list every hour! Super great score man! I am very happy for you, congrats on the awsome drums and cymbals. And, great job of cleaning those up, Il bet you had a grin on your face the size of the Grand Canyon since you laid eyes on them! Enjoy em!

Thank you!

I snagged a gold sparkle Gretsch Round Badge 12, 14, 20 with a supraphonic, vintage A's and a vintage K ride a few months ago for 500. The kit has extra holes and some wrap issues but I am excited to fix them up. Pictures to follow.

Love the Burgandy Sparkles. Very cool!

Maan, this is just what I dream of! A cool Gretsch kit with some non-fatal scuffs and mods, just enough to make it gigable without fear. And those Zildjians.

Congrats!
