Just saw the pics of the kit all cleaned up. Great job ! I want to see some more when you get the new heads on. I love the red sparkle. That's a nice vintage kit to be proud of.

I shipped the heads on Monday robyn. USPS ground. Should be in your hands Saturday or Monday the latest. Watch out for the mail truck!

They're going to look and sound great on your drums robyn. That kit deserves a first-class set of drum heads.

Thanks john, i figured they would show up sometime this weekend. Ill keep my eyes open for em.

Im excited to get this kit going. Only thing is now im gonna have to decide what to do with the tie dyes coz the ludwigs need to go in the shed where the tie dyes are. what to do, what to do, what to do?

robyn - how protected from rapid temperature and humidity changes is the shed? The answer to that question will be the decider.

Its not heated or cooled, what ever the temp outside is. It does not get wet in the shed and i have a nice tarp i cover my drums with when not playing. I have insulation materials for the shed just need the time to do the work.

robyn - The only drum killers are rapid changes, or extremes in temperature and humidity. As long as the kit stays in a fairly dry place and the temps don't go from real hot to real cold suddenly, then you're ok. If it gets real damp in there, or real cold at night and hot from sun in the day, then no. Over time they'll warp on you or you'll have some kind of problems with the wrap. Insulate the shed! Best thing to do for your drums.

Let me know when the heads hit the door robyn.
