Told ya that was a killer snare! LOL.. I really dig the one I have too. Those RK`S are in their league all their own. Wait to you hear that bass sing!

For sure, these old drums can't be compared to anything else cause they'd smoke all the other competition! Cool Dude

Bass drum hardware just got outta the Dawn bath and should get the final polishing up soon. The biggest kick I've ever had is a 22" so hearing this 26" is gonna be an experience!

Leedybdp, that's what I was just doing! So far, the only one from the same era as mine was paired with a kit and already sold, but I'm keeping my eyes out for a floor tom. That would be a dream if I could find one of the same era, enough determination will eventually yield results! As for now, the Rogers floor toms will be covering the duties...

IN SEARCH OF:
  • 1964-1966 Rogers 9x13 rack tom in silver sparkle. Beavertail lugs, flat grey Cleveland tag interior
  • 1964-1966 Rogers 22 OR 24x14 bass drum in silver sparkle. Beavertail lugs, flat grey Cleveland tag interior
  • 1959 Rogers Holiday 5x14 snare drum in blue sparkle. Serial number #13382. Large double sided bread and butter lugs. Part of my kit that was split up before I purchased it. Bring the snare home!

The 26" will be thunder in an enclosed space. Make sure any cats/dogs have hearing protection :-) Mine is in the basement and the neighbor can hear it 75 yards away.

Enjoy

Nothing special here but I like them.
