The set I'm searching for most of you wouldn't bother with, but it was my first set and I would love to get one again. It was a mid to late 60's Pearl set - 4pc in sky blue pearl with the bass drum mounted cymbal. It was a complete rip off of Ludwig stuff- but most likely it was luaun shells. It was a christmas present from my parents in the mid 70's. It wasn't the rock set that I wanted at the time, but I loved playing it. Took lessons on it from a jazz percussionist who kept getting frustrated by me not wanting to play jazz. Thanks to the influence of Alex Van Halen and his giant drum sets somewhere around 1984, that set moved on to someone else.Found a close match on ebay not that long ago, but the person wanted way too much for what they had and they weren't budging on the price. :(

You have a picture, I may have what you're looking for...

Currently looking for a RB Gretsch kit in 20", 12" & 14" sizes with matching snare - Gold satin flame if possible. Oh, and I want to pay no more than $300.00. Does anybody have one for me???? :)

Seriously though, if I could find a 16" 6 ply mid-70's Ludwig FT in black cortex for a reasonable price, I'd likely snap it up. Would be a cool addition to my current resto project. I prefer the double FT single rack tom setup myself and with the 16" FT, I could have my Bonham-like rig (my 22" kick is undersize, I know).

Maybe a Phonics kit in either 20,12,14 or 18,12,14. Prefer rosewood, but would settle for any finish.

A complete Octa-Plus in the dark walnut color or blue sparkle in the original unopened boxes complete with Atlas hardware. The one that was forgotten and stored up in the old warehouse waaaaaaaay in the back over behind the old bookcase in the hidden room. That one! Think I'll eber find it? Either way, that's what I would add. I guess I'm not really searching for anything at the moment. I've got the ones I want already.

I just purchased a Ludwig Modular 7 piece kit with a Supra-Phonic 6.5 x 14 from the 191/82 era. B/O rounded corner badges starting with 205#### for the snare and 219#### for all of the other drums. It came with some Atlas/Hercules hardware and I had some that I bought new back in 1979, when I bought my Gretsch kit with a new BB Supra-Phonic 6.5 x14 snare. So now all I need is one more matching boom or straight cymbal stand. Color is Natural Maple. They sound great and the hardware on the drums is in amazing condition. Looks like they were only played at home. I'm a very happy man! :D

Could I ask how much? That's because I found a similar kit selling here and I'm curious about market value.
