60s era Premier kit. Prefer international sizes. I've owned two and sold them and now I regret it. Looking for 14, 16, 22 sizes. Any finish. Oh yeah, I prefer the birch over the mahogany. Also, looking for a Ludwig Super Classic silver sparkle 9 x 13 tom. That's my only real priority right now.
What Set Are You Searching For? Last viewed: 2 hours ago
I have been looking for a set of '70s Slingerlands is red tiger pearl in 20, 12. 14 sizes for a long time...may have just found them...won't get them 'til next week, so my fingers are crossed..
Got them in last week...better condition than the seller described. Waiting for a few parts to complete. Hope to have them ready for gigs this coming Sunday and Monday. It was worth the wait! Pics to follow when completed...
I'm looking for a 70's vintage Walberg & Auge kit. Any one have anything please let me know!! This was the set I learned on.
At this time ia'm looking for --Not A thing--With the number of sets and snare drums i have way to many..But who knows what drums i will came across i will buy them..Mikey
I know it isn't vintage, but I am looking for a early-mid 90's Tama Rockstar DX kit with COS snare. Royal Blue finish. 22/12/13/16 POWER toms. My first real kit. Sold it for $225 like an idiot.
As far as vintage stuff....what am I NOT looking for? Next on the realistic list though...

I'm searching for some Rogers machined Swiv-O-Matic parts for my 1967/68 five piece kit (WMP). I'm missing one collar, one tom mount L arm assembly, the set screws for the other tom mount L arm assembly, one 14" long bass drum leg, and the top portion of a knobby mount with set screws (it's mounted on the left side of my bass drum and looks like it may have held a cymbal attachment?). The kit is in nice shape, so I'm looking for decent parts. Will consider buying complete pieces if the situation is right. Currently can't play the kit without the leg and the tom L arm parts. Thanks.

I've been searching for 1 70's Ludwig Blue Oyster Pearl/Bowling Ball-
wrapped 4-pc. set. also would like a late 60's-early 70's Roger 4-pc. White
Marine Pearl set. Rogers Red Onyx would do in a pinch, though.
I think I would like to build a kit. I have looked into a way to speed up the aging process. If I can afford the shells, I am going to age them this summer and start the build later in the year. If you store the shells in high heat and humidity, it will add a few years. Not much, but some aging takes place. After the aging I want to put together a set consisting of 20-12-14-16. Maybe adding a 13 tom, as well, and if so, that would leave enough drops from the shells to make at keast 2-14" snares, and one each 12&13. So a 12, 13 & 14 piccolo, and 14x5. I am thinking either 4 or 5 ply all maple shells. I really don't want m100% maple, but buying anything else is really going to get too expensive.
I wish Keller made a maple/maple/mahogany, but they only offer it to the big guys. And since that ain't me...well, maybe our friend could get them for me. Anyway, that would be my desire. And I really like the reproduction Beavertails.
So this would be a kit of my desires. In order to buy what I want, it would take too much searching and piecing together orphans and then the wraps not matching...you know how that can be.

I've decided I need one complete, original kit from each of the major US manufactures of the 60's, each in a different colour sparkle. So I'm after (almost) anything sparkly from Slingerland, Gretsch and Camco, I then may look at Europe, Premier, Sonor, Trixton, Hayman.....
I already have Ludwig and Rogers in Silver and Blue sparkle. I would consider trading my lovely BDP WFL kit for something Gretsch or Camco, anyone?
I've always been a Ludwig guy but there are too many great kits out there try to just have one brand. One of each in a different colour would look fantastic all set up in one room, mmmmmm.......
