Acrolite Love- Fest! Last viewed: 1 minute ago

Would it be kosher to post a clip of me playing the acro I owned 20 years ago? I've had one since, and loved it, but can't justify more than one snare drum [I know, seems an alien concept lol], so just stick with the 30s Ludwig snare I got from a friend.

Mitch - Post away brother! It would be cool to have a sound clip of an Acro included in the thread. John

Too many great drums to list here!

Cool, thanks! Here she be then. This Ludwig kit was finished in some sort of racing blue lacquer - never seen it before or since. Anyone else ever see this finish?

Your band is awesome! Your drumming is awesome too. Can't wait for our band to get that tight. Couple more years I think we might get there.

Thank you!

Kick as$ and take names later, that's how you do it brother! Great band, solid drumming. Even in that muddy recording, the Acro cuts through beautifully. Nice chunky 'Pop' on those drums. Thanks for posting the video, I enjoyed hearing you play!

Thanks guys. I'd put the sound quality somewhere in between - not-too-badsky for a 90s Much Music clip. :) Nice low end, anyway...

I'm glad whoever put it up did so, fun to revisit now and then. That band was my brush with fame, did pretty good for awhile but never cracked the US market to any degree. Still, touring in a bus and opening for some large-ish acts all through the US for 2 1/2 years....great memories.

Back to the Acros!

Hit Like A Grohl! Badass to play grunge on a 4-piece.

And of course the Acro cuts right through.

Cool clip.
