I too, am a varied type of collector....
Some of my "least valuable" items would be the last to go, should I have to let go of my miniscule collection. They are meaningful in ways other than money.......:)

... and if you EVER sell that Slingy Brown Aztec without giving me first offer, I'm driving to your house and spitting in your oatmeal.
Hmmm...well that Mod Orange Big Beat shell pack doubled in price in the last few minutes and sold for $4200.00+. flowers2
The same seller has a Citrus Mod Big Beat kit up for auction, now. I wonder what it will sell for......! Anyone want to take a guess?Mind Blowi
If someone came here, to this forum and asked for a valuation of kits like these, then what would you tell them? See what I'm getting at? There's never an accurate way to tell someone what their drums are worth. Your guesses are as good as mine.
And just another small rant....
What if Donald Trump's son started an interest in collecting vintage drums? Would anyone feel bad if he "paid too much" for something? What's "too much" for him? What if he paid $12,000.00 for a blue sparkle Jazz Festival? I imagine nobody would feel bad or try to intervene in order to make a better deal. In fact, some people might hope a rich guy like that should pay waaaay too much -just to stick it to the rich kid. Am I wrong?
