They look great John. I know they must sound nice as well. What kind of hoop mount spurs are those?

The bass drum spurs are from an old Radio King kit. I had precision close up the tom mount holes and the holes for the gull-wing spurs turning it into a virgin bass drum. I only recovered one of the two 12" toms, so I'm considering a rail mount. But I might not add anything back, I kinda like it the way it is.

John BTW this has to be record time for a restoration. Including sending the shells to Precision and getting them back. 8 days start to finish is amazing. Also shows the great service Precision offers. And hours spent by the tumbler and buffer by you on the hardware. First class all the way. Good job John. :)
Glenn - it -is- record time! Precision blew my mind with the turn-around time on this project. They must not have been very busy. My shells hit their door on Monday afternoon and by Thursday morning the UPS guy is knocking on my door. They stripped, rewrapped, and re-did the bearing edges at warp speed. The quality of the work is outstanding. I have no complaints and nothing but praise for the job they did for me.
I'm loving these drums BTW... my 'new' 59' Luddies. :p

PS - All of a sudden my threads are getting more reads/hits than ever. 1200 reads so far on this really not much of anything thread. I think I've picked up a following from the Big Blue restoration. If people are waiting for me to top that one... they have a long wait ahead! :D
Seeing those is like hoping in a time machine and going back to 59`.Fantastic wrap on a set of fantastic drums! And yet another one saved for future drummers to admire...enjoy them John. There real beauties and many congrats to the proud owner.

Gary from Precision wrote to me today asking me if they could use photos of my kit on their website! I was happy to grant permission and now -two- of my kits are being displayed on drum related websites! The Walburg & Auge site for Big Blue, and now Precision for the 59' Luddy transition badge kit. I'm proud as punch of my drum-babies... :D
