Gotcha! I'm still going to try to clean up the original. If it doesn't look so hot when I'm done, I'll scrap it and rewrite it. I just think it's better to try to preserve the original, warts and all.

Yes I agree the original would be best.....warts and all. But whatever you think will be the best is cool with me. Your call. I very much appreciate the tedious job your doing on this. It's like hand coloring each letter!

Yarp! You're the only one that understands what's involved...
Working...

Glenn... got one side knocked. Check your email! Starting on the other side, I'll get it out to you asap. Let me know what you think of the work on the side I've completed. It's as good as I could get the original copy. Which was busted up badly!
You have a 300 DPI TIFF that I sent you, that you can use to make the plate for one side. Other side on the way as quick as I can make it...
John
Excellent John thanks! Take your time buddy please. Whenever you can as it's a very very tedious task! I always give designers a lot of credit they really make things look great. And this is nothing short of spectacular~! Cool1
Ok boys! I just emailed, Glenn the hard copies of the art he needs to make plates for the press. I made a couple of .jpeg copies so I could post them here and you guys can see what the tags are going to look like.

I don't expect anyone who isn't a printer by trade to be able to tell the difference, but trust me, I cleaned up the original tags a ton! These tags took 9 hours to clean up by hand. The end result is well worth it. Everybody is going to get tags of 'high quality' that you will be very happy with. You'll be surprised how sharp and clear everything is when magnified. I blew everything up 400x's to work on it. It's all 'cleaner than Skeeter's peter!'
Glenn - Man I'm so glad to have had an opportunity to help you out. You've been so good to me, it's great to be able to get you back. flowers2
Gentlemen... enjoy your new/old Rogers DYNAsonic tags when you get them!
John
I'd like to put in an order for one as well, when the time comes.. Just found out that my old '76 6.5 Dyna is coming back my way.. I gifted it to a neighbours son that I was giving some lessons to around 15 years ago.
Keen to see how it looks these days..
Cheers

longjohn - Cool you're getting your DYNA back and after 15 years! You have to post some pix of that 6.5" when you get it back. I'm sure Glenn will add you to the mailing list, mate...

Would love a tag too. Happy to pitch in whatever you need.
If the guys who are getting tags pitch in 'a little something' to cover postage so Glenn doesn't have to pay out of pocket for it, that would be cool. The guy is supplying his own time and materials, ink, card stock, on an offset press which requires; time, effort and labor. Offset press set-up, running and later clean-up is -work-.
He shouldn't have to sport for postage as well. Way to go, Tillerva!
